Amalia House – Holiday home with three holiday flats in Karystos, South-Euboea
Amalia House is a restored stone house comprising three self-contained holiday apartments, centrally located in Karystos in the south of Euboea (Evia), Greece.
The accommodation is located in a quiet side street near Amalía-Square.
The beach, harbour, cafés, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. The combination of a central location and a sheltered residential area means you can get by without a car.
The house can accommodate up to eleven guests and is ideal for families, couples, small groups or workshops.
Each holiday apartment has its own fully equipped kitchen, private bathrooms and clearly separate sleeping areas.
This ensures privacy and flexibility – even when the entire house is booked together.
You can choose between the ground-floor Garden Apartment with garden access for 2–3 people, the Beletage with two bedrooms and a large terrace for 4 people, and the Penthouse with sea views and two terraces for 4 people.
Amalia House combines proximity to the beach, a central location in Karystos and a well-organised layout within a historic building in southern-Euboea.
- 5 bedrooms: 2 penthouses, 2 ground-floor flats, 1 garden flat.
- 5 bathrooms: Each flat has a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom; the penthouse and the bel étage also have a second full bathroom, which can also be used as a guest bathroom.
- 3 AC: Each flat is equipped with a sufficiently powerful air-conditioning system that can keep the room pleasantly cool even on the hottest summer days.

The apartment was clean and in a great location. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. We felt very well cared for.
O casa minunata intr-un sat minunat! Este un apartament foarte frumos, spatios, bine compartimentat. Apartamentul este nou si este dotat cu absolut orice ai nevoie. Este intr-o zona linistita si are in apropiere magazine si taverne. Raportul pret-calitate este unul excelent. Curatenia este impecabila, iar gazda este foarte empatica si dornica sa te ajute. Cu siguranta vom reveni in acest loc!
I have had an excellent month’s stay at the Amalia Garden Apartment. Clean, modern and very comfortable. The garden is truly charming, with a variety of trees. A perfect location to explore Karystos town centre and the surrounding beautiful beaches. The hosts have been very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Basically, everything described on their website is exactly so. I feel lucky to have found such a delightful place and highly recommend it.
Meine Schwester und ich waren im April in Karystos, zur Zeit des griechischen Osterfestes. Ein wunderbarer kleiner Fischer-Ort, von Touristen noch nicht überschwemmt. Mit hübschen Cafes und Restaurants, wo wir wunderbar gegessen haben, vor allem natürlich Fischspezialitäten. Karystos lädt zu ausgiebigen Spaziergänge, aber auch für Radtouren regelrecht ein. Man sollte allerdings keine Katzenphobie haben ... Im Appartement selbst fehlte es uns an nichts (großes Wort, ich weiß). 2 getrennte Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder und ein großer gemütlich eingerichteter Wohnraum. Dazu eine riesige Terrasse mit Sonnen-Liegen. Eine gut eingerichtete Küche für Selbstversorger (es gibt tolle Geschäfte für frische Waren aller Art), WLAN (über Starlink). Ein moderner Flachbild-Fernseher mit zahllosen Apps hilft über wettermäßig vielleicht nicht so schöne Tage hinweg. Die sehr freundlichen und kompetenten Gastgeber stehen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt im Amalia House nur wärmstens empfehlen und werde bestimmt selbst wiederkommen. Das Meer ist für einen normal schnell gehenden Fußgänger gute fünf Minuten entfernt, "unser" Strand 8 Minuten.
Die perfekte Wohnung für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Zentral aber ruhig, großartig ausgestattet, alles neu und hochwertig.
